The design studio builds a site from a description
One question and one box
The studio opens with a single question, What should we build, and one large box to answer it in. Nothing else on the screen asks for your attention.
Type it the way you would say it out loud, and use the attach button if you have a reference file to go with it.
That is the whole composer, and the restraint is on purpose. A screen with forty controls teaches you the tool, while one box gets you to a genuinely useful first draft faster.
Pin a brand and a layout, or let it choose
Two dropdowns sit under the box. Brand pins a starting look, and Structure pins a page layout.
Leave both alone on a first build and the assistant picks for you, which is usually the right move before you have seen anything. You can change either one later.
Pinning earns its keep when you run several sites and want a shared look without shared words. Each site is still individually built from its own profile, so a shared look never turns your sites into copies of each other.
Three tabs for the thing you are about to do
Below the composer are three tabs, and each one answers a different question about what you are about to do. Pick the tab that matches the job, then type.
- Microsites — your sites as cards. Click Work on this and that card becomes the target.
- Brands — the brand systems you can start from, your own synced brand included.
- Structures — real layout options, shown as previews of the section order you get.
Nothing built here skips a step
Work on this is a plain click, and the target stays in view on the card. You are never one sentence away from reworking the wrong site.
Hitting send in the studio runs the same conversation engine as the chat everywhere else, so nothing built here skips a step. Every page meets the compliance gate — a check that runs before anything publishes.
The platform's page generator refuses pages that are a template with the town swapped, and edits that make pages too alike are refused too. Every page is checked against Google Search Essentials and modern web standards, which is why describing a site quickly is safe. You cannot talk your way past the gate.

Frequently asked questions
Is the studio a different builder?
No. It runs the same conversation engine as the chat. It is another door onto the same builder.
What if I leave Brand and Structure alone?
The assistant picks both for you from what it knows about your business.
How do I rework a site I already have?
Open the Microsites tab, click Work on this, then describe the change in the box.
Can I attach a reference?
Yes. The composer has an attach button for a reference file.
