Publish your own privacy, terms and accessibility pages
Nothing is auto-written, and that is the point
Plenty of site builders will hand you a machine-written privacy policy. This one will not.
A page that quietly announces no real policy exists is worse than no page at all, so nothing ships in its place. Until you upload a document, those addresses do not resolve on your live site.
You can publish without any of the three, at your own risk. We never block a publish over a missing legal page — that call belongs to you and your own lawyer, not to a software vendor.
Three slots waiting on the Pages screen
Open a site, go to the Pages screen, and the legal section shows three fixed addresses ready to be filled. Each one accepts a plain text or Word document.
Upload a file and the slot shows as live with your filename. The page joins your sitemap and goes through the same compliance gate as every other page on the site.
Legal pages do not eat your page allowance. Your sites are capped by pages: 25 on Starter, 50 on Growth, 100 on Scale and Platform. Your policy documents sit outside that count.
So nobody ever has to choose between a terms page and a page about the work they do.
What to do if you have no document yet
Each slot offers a set of questions you can download, in Word or plain text. Work through them with your own lawyer and upload whatever comes back.
It is a structured start for a conversation with a professional. It is not a substitute for one, and it is never sold as one.
Whatever you upload publishes exactly as written. We do not edit it, we do not summarize it, and we do not tell you whether it satisfies any law.
Taking one down puts it back to nothing
Remove an uploaded document and that address stops existing again. It never falls back to a stand-in we wrote for you.
That is worth a pause on a live site with real visitors. An accessibility statement that vanishes is a visible change to anyone who linked to it.
Everything else carries on as it was. Your pages stay individually built and checked against Google Search Essentials and modern web standards.
A missing legal page has never been what separates a genuinely useful site from a thin one. It is simply one of the things a grown-up business is expected to publish.

Frequently asked questions
Does the platform write my privacy policy?
No. Microsite Generator never writes legal text and never judges whether a document satisfies a law. You upload your own.
What file types can I upload?
Plain text or Word documents. Whatever you upload publishes exactly as written, unchanged.
Do legal pages use up my page allowance?
No. They sit outside your plan's page count, and they still pass the same compliance gate as every other page.
Can I publish a site without them?
Yes. We never block a publish over a missing legal page. The decision is yours to make with your own lawyer.
