Schedule a site to publish later
Your launch lands on the date the business needs
On the Sites page, any site that is not live yet carries a Schedule option. You pick the day and the hour.
The picker then shows you what that means in your own time zone before you confirm. Nothing to convert in your head, and no sticky note to forget on a Friday.
The platform checks for due schedules on a short cycle, so a site goes live within a few minutes of the time you set. You can change or cancel any schedule before it runs.
Scheduling changes nothing about how the site was built. It only decides when the finished thing shows up in public.
Your site is still checked at the moment it goes live
A scheduled publish is not a side door. When the time comes, your site meets the same compliance gate as a manual publish — a check that runs before anything publishes.
Every page is checked against Google Search Essentials and modern web standards first. If a page cannot pass, the platform holds the whole site instead of publishing it.
That is the deliberate part. An unattended publish is exactly when a weak page could slip out, so the gate is the thing that does not sleep.
The platform's page generator refuses pages that are a template with the town swapped, and edits that make pages too alike are refused too. A page has to stand on its own and be genuinely useful, even when nobody is watching the screen.
Cancel, unpublish and delete do three different things
People mix these up all the time, and the difference matters most on a site that already has visitors. Each one is its own control with its own result.
- Cancel a schedule — the run never happens. Your site stays unpublished and editable.
- Unpublish — a live site goes offline. Its content, version history and leads all stay.
- Delete — the site, its history and its leads are gone for good.
- A live site has to be unpublished before you can delete it.
Line up launches when you run more than one site
Once you hold a portfolio, a launch stops being an event and starts being logistics. Scheduling is how you keep that straight.
Line up a seasonal page, a new service line or a relaunched domain against the date the business actually needs. Each site is still individually built and still checked on its own terms.
You also stop treating your own free time as the release date. A site is ready when it is ready, and it appears when you want it seen.
A queue of scheduled publishes is a calendar. It is not a bulk button that shoves untested pages out under one command.

Frequently asked questions
Which sites can I schedule?
Any site that is not live yet. The Schedule option sits on the Sites page next to the site.
What if the site fails the checks at that moment?
The platform holds it and does not publish. A scheduled publish never forces a failing site live.
Is the time in my own time zone?
Yes. The picker shows you what your chosen date and time mean in your zone before you confirm.
Can I cancel a schedule?
Yes, any time before it runs. You can also unpublish later, which keeps your content, history and leads.
