WordPress: what is and isn't supported

There is no WordPress plugin and no two-way sync. Microsite Generator does not publish into your WordPress site and does not read your posts. It reads your public site once, to learn your brand, then builds and hosts a site of its own.

Two different jobs, kept apart on purpose

Your WordPress site is your main property, with its plugins, its editors and its history. A microsite is a different animal: small, individually built, on its own domain, and aimed at one job.

Fusing the two would drag the whole WordPress surface in with it. Themes clash, plugins update, and someone has to own security. Meanwhile every page here clears the compliance gate and is checked against Google Search Essentials and modern web standards before it goes live. Keeping the two apart is what makes that checkable.

What Magic Brand Sync takes from your site

Paste your website address into Magic Brand Sync, and it pulls your logo, your colors and your voice from what is publicly there — very often a WordPress site.

It works on public sites only. If it cannot find a color, a logo or a style, it says so rather than inventing one. What it does find is a starting point you can change, and a color it pulls is checked for contrast before it is used.

Note what it does not take: no posts, no pages, no products, no users, no database. It is a one-way read of your public front end, run once when you ask for it.

Where the microsite lives

We host the site, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to install. Go live on a free subdomain, or on your own domain with one CNAME record and an SSL certificate issued for you.

Your WordPress site keeps running exactly as it does today. Nothing is added to it and nothing is written back into it, and taking a microsite down later does not touch it either.

One thing not to do

Do not move your WordPress pages across wholesale. The platform's page generator refuses pages that are a template with the town swapped, and edits that make pages too alike are refused too.

Write the microsite for its own job instead. The agent asks about your business and writes the pages from your answers. That is faster than porting, and it holds up as you add more sites.

The two properties answer different questions: WordPress is where someone goes to learn about the whole company. A microsite is where someone lands on one need and finds something genuinely useful about that need alone.
