TikTok Pixel: what is and isn't supported
Paid traffic can land on a page with no advertising pixel
Plenty of people connect a domain here to give a campaign somewhere real to land. So it is fair to ask what happens to measurement when the page carries no vendor code.
What happens is that the counting moves, and the page itself stays clean. What occurred is recorded by the system that served the page and took the form. It is not recorded by a script in a browser, which may be blocked or stripped before it ever runs.
One page, one script budget
A microsite is small on purpose. It is individually built around one business and one ask. Spending its load budget on someone else's tag manager works against that.
There is a structural reason too. The opening block is written to read as a self-contained answer. That is what makes a page quotable by an answer engine — the AI answers you see in ChatGPT and Google. The less code between the request and that text, the better.
So keeping vendor scripts out is part of keeping the page genuinely useful, rather than merely wired up.
What the numbers here are, and are not
You get page views counted on the server when a real page load happens. You see the number of leads captured per site, and the rate between the two, filtered to a date range or a single site.
You do not get campaign attribution, creative-level splits or a view-through window. Nothing here pretends otherwise. Those belong to the ad platform, and that is where you should read them.
Where measurement belongs
Let the ad account be the truth for spend and delivery. Let this platform be the truth for what the page did once someone arrived. Views, leads, and the status and note you put on each lead as you work it.
The lead itself is the bridge. Every lead can go to your CRM or to any webhook you control, and webhook deliveries are signed so the receiver can check them. You close the loop inside systems you own.
Every page still clears the compliance gate before it publishes, so the page you send paid traffic to is one you can defend line by line.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add the TikTok Pixel to a microsite?
No. No advertising pixel is added to published microsites, including the TikTok Pixel. The only third-party tag the platform can add is Google Analytics 4, and only when you paste your own measurement ID.
Can I paste custom JavaScript into a page?
No. Published pages are served without scripts supplied by customers.
What measurement does the platform provide?
Page views counted on the server, leads captured per site, and the conversion rate between them, over a date range you choose.
How do I connect a lead back to my campaign?
Each lead is delivered to your CRM or to a webhook address you control, where your own systems can join it to campaign data.
