Your business profile and the chat beside it
What your business profile is
Your business profile is a summary of what we know about your business: its name, industry, market, services and areas served. It is saved to your account, and it is the source the agent writes from, so an answer you sharpen today shapes the pages written after it.
On the Account page the profile is a read-only summary, and there is no edit form for it. If something is wrong or missing, tell the assistant in the conversation and it updates from there.
It fills in as you answer
In Business Discovery, what you have said so far shows as a running profile beneath the questions. You do not re-type it or check it across screens.
When your Growth Agent saves something about your business while the profile is open beside the chat, the profile updates right there, without reloading. If you are looking at another screen, it stays where you are: it does not pull you back to the profile.
An empty field says what it is for
Every unanswered field on your profile shows what it is for, so a blank is not a mystery. The fields we cannot fill in from a text box carry an Ask me button. Pressing it starts that question in the conversation, and you answer there in your own words.
The profile also feeds the checklist on Business Discovery, called Getting your site live. It tracks five things: how much of your business profile is filled in, whether you have a site, whether you have chosen a look of your own, whether a site is published, and whether your leads have somewhere to go. Nothing on it is locked. The page on Business Discovery describes the whole screen.
Three ways to start the conversation
There is no separate chat window on Business Discovery. Three starter cards each type a ready-made opening line into the same conversation panel used everywhere else in the app: Start my business discovery, Analyse my existing website, and Show me where to start. Start my business discovery answers the question everything else builds on: what your business does and who it serves. Analyse my existing website points the agent at a site you already have. Show me where to start is for when you would rather be asked than be handed a blank box.
Once you have told it anything, the heading switches to Keep going, and the running profile appears below the questions. A finished step on the checklist shows struck through instead of disappearing, so you can still go back to it, for example to change your look after you publish.
You do not have to finish it first
The agent gathers what it needs naturally, and only what is genuinely missing. It draws out four kinds of thing: your business basics (name, what you do, who it is for, city), your brand and style, real proof, and how leads reach you. Real proof means only real testimonials and proof points, never invented ones.
If you are thin on details, the agent can build a first draft from what it knows, and you fix anything after you see it. There is no separate form to hunt for. If you already have a website, Magic Brand Sync can pull your color, logo and style from it in one step. The page on Magic Brand Sync explains that.
Your chat opens with a next step ready
When you start a conversation, the agent opens with the one step it would suggest for your account right now. A button puts that step in the message box for you to send or change.
The message box also suggests the step that fits your account right now. Up to two quick options appear above it and fill the box for you, and the suggestions update after each reply.
The suggested replies under the chat follow the conversation. They answer what your Growth Agent just asked, follow up on what it just did, keep it simple when something is unclear, and change to fit each page as you move around. They fill the message box for you, and nothing is sent until you press Send. The page on what your Growth Agent can do covers the rest of how the agent works with you.
What it does not do
- It does not send a suggestion for you. A suggestion fills the message box, and you send it, change it or ignore it.
- It does not give the Account page profile an edit form. You change the profile by telling the assistant.
- It does not move you to another screen when the profile updates. If you are elsewhere, you stay there.
- It does not answer an Ask me question for you. The button starts the question, and your answer is what gets saved.
- It does not promise results. A fuller profile gives the agent more of your own facts to write from, and every page is still checked before it publishes.
Telling us about your business, where your answers become your business profile, is step two of the four steps to a finished site. The page on the four steps describes each one and where it lives in the menu.
If you want something this screen does not do, send a feature request; a real person reads every one. The page on support and feature requests explains how.

Frequently asked questions
Can I edit my business profile on the Account page?
No. The Account page shows a read-only summary. Tell the assistant in the conversation what is wrong or missing and it updates the profile from there.
Does the profile update while I chat?
Yes. When your Growth Agent saves something about your business while the profile is open beside the chat, the profile updates there without reloading. If you are on another screen, it stays where you are.
What does the Ask me button do?
It appears on fields we cannot fill in from a text box and starts that question in the conversation. You answer in your own words.
What are the suggestions in the chat?
A next step that fits your account right now, and up to two quick options above the message box. They fill the box for you to send or change, and they update after each reply.
Will a suggestion send a message by itself?
No. Nothing is sent until you press Send.
